This book is still in the original publishers shrinkwrap. This book is in As New condition and has never been read. The book was originally published in 1968 in response to the growing popularity of Vonnegut's books when they were released in paperback and introduced to a new generation. There are twenty-three stories and one essay contained in the book. The works were written for magazines as various as The Saturday Evening Post, Playboy, Fantasy and Science Fiction, and The Ladies Home Journal. They well display both the diversity and development of Kurt Vonnegut's prodigious talent. This beautiful book is bound in full-tooled leather with satin moiré endpapers, satin ribbon bookmark, and 22kt gold on the spine. The paper was made especially for this edition. The leather was cut entirely by hand. It includes a certificate of authenticity and a 4x6 card laid in with biographical information as well as a few words about the book itself. It is a volume of heirloom quality and will be treasured for generations to come. We are pleased to send pictures on request.
